MEXICO. 4 Escudos, 1831-GoMJ. NGC MS-62.
Fr-83; KM-381.4. Sharply struck leaving fresh lustrous surfaces and great detail to the book and feathers of the eagle. Some minimal bag marks on obverse but otherwise the fields are quite pristine allowing the luster to bloom essentially unrestrained. Brilliant yellow gold color with the only sign of toning on the highest areas of relief on the reverse. The finest example certified at NGC and highly attractive. NGC MS-62.
