PERU. 8 Escudos, 1751-J. Lima Mint. Ferdinand VI (1746-60). NGC AU-55. WINGS Approved.
Fr-16; KM-50; Cal-Type 6 #18. First year of milled coinage at Lima featuring a large bust design on the gold coinage. Impressively well preserved with only some very light even wear on nose and highest curls of hair. The sharp full strike has given every speck of detail to the waves of hair and order sash. Some tiny trivial bag marks in fields but they are very diminished by the attractive soft luster. A nice representative of type which will please any new owner. NGC AU-55. WINGS Approved.
