PERU. Constitution Reformation Gold Medal, 1860. NGC MS-63.
34 mm. Fonrobert-9122. Radiant book of the Constitution with legend around; Reverse: Seven line inscription within wreath. Highly lustrous and attractive with no evidence of wear or handling present, all the more impressive given the high relief of the strike. Fields are fresh and bright with only a few stray marks in the open reverse to the left of inscription and rims are similarly unfettered by distractions. Some light orange toning around the devices adds to the overall originality and appeal. NGC MS-63.
