KM-185.2; Bit-202; Dia-20; Brekke-8. Date reads upward. Sharply struck giving a crisp image and sharp detail with no hint of doubling. The surfaces have toned an even milk chocolate hue with glittering luster apparent around and among the devices and only being subdued in the deeply toned open areas. A truly remarkable little piece which has somehow remained virtually untouched for almost three centuries and sustained no detracting handling marks or signs of wiping or cleaning. Housed in an old green PCGS holder and stands alone as the finest certified example of the date and variety. PCGS MS-65 BN.
