RUSSIA. 1/2 Ruble (Poltina), 1798-CM MB. Paul I (1796-1801). NGC MS-63.
C-99.1a; Bit-48. An exceptional example of this short lived type. Showing no circulation wear to the low relief design of the conjoined monograms which is almost ubiquitous to this issue. A few contact marks on the obverse are the only signs of being handled at all. In addition to the high level of surface condition very attractive golden peach toning with some translucent robin's egg blue hues glinting from the fully lustrous surfaces. NGC MS-63.
