RUSSIA. 5 Ruble, 1851-CNB AT. NGC MS-63 PL.
Fr-155; C-175.3; Bit-34. A fantastic example of the type with the added appeal as the only certified business strike to be given a proof like designation by either PCGS or NGC. This designation is earned from the incredibly strong mirror fields present on both the obverse and reverse complimented by the sharply struck frosted devices. Likely a very early strike from fresh dies to have left such an abundant amount of luster and detail. Some trivial bag marks can be observed under close scrutiny but all are essentially overtaken by the surface brilliance. Among the finest thus far certified with only three being a mere one point higher. NGC MS-63 PL.
