The order of St. George is a purely military award originally given to Senior officers for conduct of military operations protecting the country from external attacks resulting in complete defeat of the enemy, for the execution of combat and other operations in foreign states restoring peace and security, or for being a model of military science with feats that exemplify military prowess.
