Bruce-PT3b; Cal-Type 2 #3. RARE pretender issue struck in the name of Charles VII. Regular thickness with reeded edge. Evidence of multiple strikes with some ghosting of legends and denticles. A few light scattered handling marks but no adverse signs of handling or surface issue. Deep cabinet toning on obverse with some pleasing royal blue hues being illuminated by underlying luster. Reverse is somewhat lighter in tone allowing for more original luster to beam through. PCGS SP-61 Secure Holder.
