Richter-697a; Martin-387. By Charles Jean Richard. Arms of Geneva with rifles and flags below; Reverse: Monogram surrounded by wreath. EXTREMELY RARE shooting medal with a mintage of a mere 10 pieces struck in silver. A stunning piece with vibrant rainbow toning throughout the entirety of the surfaces, the predominant coloring being electric blue and seafoam green. Sharply struck with fully lustrous surfaces booming through the toning. No signs of contact or handling. An exquisite example of a seldom offered piece. A near gem missing from most collections of shooting festival issues. PCGS SP-64 Secure Holder.

From the Ellis W. Tallman Collection.
