Half-length armoured bust of Philip right, PHILIPPVS REx PRINC HISP AET S AN XXVIII, signed below. Rev. Half-length bust of the Queen left, wearing embroidered cap, gown and necklace, MARIA I REG ANGL FRANC ET HIB FIDEI DEFENSATRIX. (MI 72/20; Attwood 80a rev; Arm I, 241/2 obv; Pollard (2007) 504, 505). A tooled aftercast of some considerable age, a pleasing patina. Very fine.
