Good Very Fine, struck on a broad flan; lightly toned.

This was the last issue of the denarius produced for mass circulation in the Roman Empire and one of a special issue of six (RIC 115, 127, 129-131) struck to mark the marriage of Gordian III to Sabinia Tranquillina in the summer of 240.
