A rare early Azores note in black, dark green, and brown with a finely engraved vignette featuring three figures and coat of arms at upper center. The arms is also featured on the back and it is overprinted in black "MOEDA INSULANA" instead of red as described in The Standard Catalog. It is also unillustrated in The Standard Catalog and priced only up to Fine at $2750. Bright PMG Extremely Fine 40 Net, with a minor edge repair.
