British Guiana Government of British Guiana $20 1.1.1942 Pick 16. Like all other notes of the 1942 series, a toucan and vignette of the Kaieteur falls, two hallmarks which makes this series so popular are seen. However, this highest denomination features a forward facing vignette of King George VI. The first A1 prefix graces this absolutely fantastic example which retains its light green underprint and deep crimson intaglio features. Considering the region's warm, tropical climate, this note held up fantastically well, grading a very respectable PMG Choice Fine 15 Net with paper damage and rust.
