Montreal, LC- Bank of Ottawa $3 Jan. 4, 1838 Ch. # 560-12-04-04. This was a spurious bank established, as the Charlton reference notes, by a group of "New York swindlers." Its notes were well engraved, however. PMG Fine 12 Net, with some staining and a tear.
