Falkland Islands British Administration Government of the Falkland Islands £5 ND (1899-1905) Pick A4r(?) GFI B5t. A PMG About Uncirculated 55 with a counterfoil at left, a center fold, and an adhesive along the left edge. This £5 note is listed as "rare" and without any value in the Krause reference. Two other denominations of this issue are listed in the same fashion, while the other two notes of this short issue are listed only up to the grade of Fine. This note is paired with the £1 note here. The Standard Catalog of World Paper does not list a remainder, while Owen Linzmayer's Bank Note Book includes a Color Trial. Whether a remainder, or the Color Trials that we believe them to be, these notes are quite elusive and rarely ever offered in issued form.
