Fiji Vakacavacava Fractional Tax Note 25 Cents 1.9.1873 Pick 9b. It is not often that fractional tax receipts like this one surface at public auction. We have handled only one other example, a cancelled 50 Cent example in similar condition, which was offered in the Ruth Hill Collection and realized $1410. This 25 Cent example has been pen cancelled and exhibits edge damage. The paper is still solid and firm, and all of its design elements are quite distinguishable. PMG grades this Choice Fine 15.
