Iran Banque Nationale de l'Iran Album 5 Pahlevis ND (ca. 1930s) Thirty-two Examples Printer Proofs. An unissued design reminiscent of Pick 17A with a portrait of Shah Reza wearing a high cap. The back is the Palace of 40 Columns. Each page is uniface and contains the same face and back design. Different colors and shades are used throughout the 32 examples. The page measurements are approximately 8.5 by 10.5 inches. The album for these pages is included and the front and back marble board covers have separated. The title on the outside of the front cover is Billets de l'Iran. This is a very important body of work. The individual sheets grade Uncirculated or better with one having a large pencilled "X" on it. The item count is 34 composed of 32 sheets plus the front and back covers. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason.
