Palestine Palestine Currency Board £10 1.1.1944 Pick 9d. This is only the third time, and the first since 2008 we've handled this grand denomination from the 1944 issue. Notes of Palestine of the 1944 issue were only issued in small amounts, meant to buttress the amount of earlier issues in circulation, and not meant to replace the entire early issues. Combined with World War II in both Europe, as these notes were printed in London, and in the Middle East, banknote issuance was not a top objective. All colors are excellent, with the paper still strong on this example. Some minor repairs are noted. PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
