Spain Banco de Espana 25 Pesetas 1.7.1884 Pick 29. Only the second example of this rare early Spanish note to grace one of our auctions. The stern portrait of Spanish Minister of Finance Ramon de Santillan is the central focus of this tough 25 Pesetas note. The only other piece we have offered was a PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30 that realized $2585 last September. This bright, well margined PMG Choice Very Fine 35 Net example with minor repairs should do about the same.
