Spain Banco de Espana 50 Pesetas 25.11.1899 Pick 50. Francisco de Quevedo is featured on this wonderful example that faces up very well for its assigned grade. These locally printed examples are known for their particular fiber thread security measure which is easily seen in the left margin. Seven small edge tears completely within the margins have been sealed. The note must be "candled" in front of a light source to see the nicely done repairs. PMG Extremely Fine 40 Net, repaired.
