Venezuela Banco Caracas 400 Bolivares ND (ca. 1890) Pick S138pp Progressive Proof and S138p Proof. Two examples of the designs that eventually became one note. The face is a progressive proof, showing only the layout of the note with its intaglio designs before any color was added. The back rendered in orange was eventually not selected, as green was used. The face is PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 Net, paper damage. The back is PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
