Clifton, PC- Bank of Clifton $2 Sept. 1, 1861 Ch. # 125-12-12. An attractive red and black note printed by W.L. Ormsby under the name of the New York Bank Note Co., this $2 features a great vignette of St. George slaying a dragon. In a not so unusual turn of events for banks who gave Ormsby their business, the bank foundered in a relatively short period of time. PMG Choice About Unc 58.
