Egypt United Arab Republic 5 Piastres L. 1940 (ND 1997-98) Pick 185 Mismatched Serial Number Error. The left serial number has a 5 as the first digit, while the right serial number has a 4 as the first digit. This is certainly a peculiar error that is not often encountered on world notes. In our 2012 Long Beach auction, we sold a group of four similarly graded notes with this exact error for $411. This example grades PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
