Great Britain Bank of England £5 20.3.1931 Pick 328a Two Examples. A pair of pre-war White Notes just two serial numbers apart with Catterns' signature. Both examples have pinholes as expected, as their unwieldy size meant they were kept together with safety pins; the notes retain excellent, strong, and complete paper. The earlier serial number is PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40, pinholes, and the later example is PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 45, pinholes. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
