South Korea MPC Coupon Series IV $1 ND (1971) Pick M29 Schwan 995. South Korean troops needed Korean MPC coupons plus American MPC's in like amounts in order to pay for merchandise and services during the Vietnam War. Since Korean MPC coupons were not theoretically available from black marketeers, this action greatly decreased the amount of merchandise entering the black market. A new financial control agreement in 1969 between the United States and South Korea gave birth to these interesting military notes. Very Fine.
