1652 SHILNG Pine Tree Shilling, Large Planchet, Reversed N, XF45 NGC. Noe-10, W-750, Salmon 8-Diii, R.3. No pellets at trunk. 64.8 gn, per its prior known auction appearance. A charming cream-gray example with unblemished and evenly defined surfaces. Usual "bird's nest" break near the center of the tree. Slightly oval-shaped due to a straight clip at 3 o'clock, likely as issued by the Boston Mint. Listed on page 41 of the 2017 Guide Book.
