1773 1/2 P Virginia Halfpenny, Period, MS64 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. N. 23-R, W-1565, R.4. A lovely, nearly spot-free example of this popular Colonial issue. The obverse shows more brown than red, while the reverse has far more red than brown present. Unmarked and attractive with an above average strike on the heraldic shield. Listed on page 47 of the 2017 Guide Book.
