Kentucky Token, LANCASTER Edge, MS65 Red PCGS. Breen-1156, W-8810, R.5. Most Kentucky tokens are the Plain Edge variety, but other edge varieties are known, although only the LANCASTER and engrailed varieties are collectible. The present Gem has somehow retained most of its initial orange-gold color for more than two centuries. Abrasions and carbon are essentially absent. OUR CAUSE is clear, unlike often seen. Listed on page 77 of the 2017 Guide Book. Population: 8 in 65 Red, 0 finer (11/16).
