1794 1/2 C High Relief Head, C-9, B-9, R.2 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. XF. Manley Die State 3.0, the scarce late die state with a heavy crack through the cap, another through the tops of IBERTY, and a rim break joining several dentils left of the fraction. The High Relief Head obverse is found on three varieties, Cohen-7, 8, and 9, and the other two are rarities, so the C-9 die pair is the ideal choice for type and major variety collectors. This example has glossy surfaces with minor flaws in the lower obverse field. The obverse is light tan with attractive blue, teal, and tan on the reverse. Our EAC grade VF20.
