Half Cents
1797 1/2 C 1 Above 1, C-1, B-1, R.2, VF30 PCGS. Manley Die State 2.0. Close inspection reveals a delicate vertical crack from the B in LIBERTY to the top of the portrait. This deep brown representative is only lightly abraded and shows minimal surface granularity. The upper reverse dentils are absent, but the rest of the design displays even wear. Most examples of the variety are in Very Good or lesser grades. The present midgrade half cent will please the devoted specialist. Our EAC grade VF20.
