Proof Braided Hair Half Cents
1852 1/2 C First Restrike, B-2, R.4, PR64 Brown PCGS. The doubled T in CENT signifies the First Restrike that is encountered as often as any other proof half cent variety. This is a great choice for a type collection. This piece has bold design definition and satiny light brown surfaces with little remaining mirrored surface. A nice match for a brown Mint State set of 1850s half cents. Our EAC grade PR60. Population: 4 in 64 (1 in 64+) Brown, 4 finer (11/16).
