1793 1C Wreath, Vine and Bars Edge, S-5, B-6, R.4 -- Burnished, Rim Damage -- NGC Details. Fine. Breen Die State III, "extremely rare," with a cud joining the tops of the ER in LIBERTY. What appears to be an additional rim break over the Y is likely caused by a minor rim ding. The deep brown surfaces are moderately glossy, and obverse edge knocks are noted at 2:30, 3:30, 5:30, and 10:30. Nonetheless, an above average example of this scarcer Wreath cent die variety. Our EAC grade Good 6.
