1795 1C Plain Edge, S-78, B-8, R.1 -- Triple Struck, Last Strike Flipover -- NCS. Fine Details. The first strike was normal. The second strike was approximately 30% off center toward 10:30. The third strike, a flipover, was 10% off center toward 10 o'clock. Fortuitously, all three dates are visible and complete, although the dates from the first two strikes are affected by lavender verdigris. The deep walnut-brown surfaces are evenly granular and are free from consequential contact. Our EAC grade Good 6.
