1837 1C Head of 1838, N-10, R.1, MS67 Brown NGC. CAC. This stunning Superb Gem exhibits frosty surfaces and full cartwheel luster with vivid blue toning on its dark chocolate-brown surfaces. Traces of faded mint red is mostly visible at the center of the reverse. Although the stars are bluntly struck, the central design elements appear in bold relief. A lovely example for the early cent connoisseur. Our EAC grade MS63. Census: 2 in 67 Brown, 0 finer for all varieties of 1837 cents (11/16).
