1837 1C Plain Cords, Medium Letters, N-16, R.3, MS64 Brown PCGS. This lustrous cent exhibits ample red near the stars and around the portrait. The reverse is medium olive-brown. We note two ticks on the nose and cheek, and a spot on the reverse rim at 6 o'clock. Struck from a buckled reverse die, with low relief on UNITED STATES OF. Our EAC grade MS62. Population: 44 in 64 (1 in 64+) Brown, 32 finer (11/16).
