Indian Cents
1859 1C MS65 PCGS. The subtle "white copper" look of the 1859-64 copper-nickel cents does not easily lend itself to a "flashy" appellation, but this splendid Gem comes awfully close, with thoroughgoing luster over gold-almond surfaces and a near-total lack of distractions, save for some tiny flecks visible only with a loupe. There is even a moderate cameo effect, more perceptible on the obverse. The strike is full.
