1860 1C Pointed Bust, FS-401, MS66+ PCGS. The transitional Pointed Bust variety is listed in the both the Guide Book and Cherrypickers' Guide, which writes: "It is getting more accepted as a regular member of the basic Indian Head cent collection. Presently it is priced similarly to the 1859, but it is much scarcer." Both sides of this spectacular Premium Gem appear pristine upon first glance, and even carefully inspection fails to turn up any significant distractions. The surfaces are tan-gold and fully struck. Population: 11 in 66 (1 in 66+), 2 finer (11/16).
