Indian Cents
1873 1C Closed 3 MS65+ Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Closed 3 cents are scarcer than the Open 3 coins struck later in 1873, especially in high grades. Effulgent luster illuminates amber and copper-gold surfaces. Incompletely defined on the feather tips, ribbon, and date, but readily appealing nonetheless. Population: 41 in 65 (2 in 65+) Red and Brown, 4 finer. CAC: 10 in 65, 1 finer (11/16).
