Indian Cents
1909-S 1C MS64 Red PCGS. CAC. The shield is fully struck and the bust tip is sharp, the two most important indicators of a strong strike on the 1909-S Indian Head cent. This is a glistening Red example, free of all but the most minor carbon flecks with terrific eye appeal. Frosty copper-orange color alternates with peach and lilac highlights amid coruscant mint luster. Just 309,000 pieces were struck, the lowest mintage of the series and far scarcer than the 1909-S VDB Lincoln cents. Importantly, this coin displays CAC endorsement. CAC: 23 in 64, 29 finer (10/16).
