Indian Cents
1909-S 1C MS65 Red NGC. An above-average strike for this key branch-mint issue, being notable for its pleasing honey-tan coloration that is free from much of the streakiness characteristic of the 1909-S Indian. A few trivial blemishes are clustered behind the portrait and there are only a few isolated signs of carbon. Rarely seen finer. Census: 48 in 65 Red, 8 finer (11/16).
