1871 1C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. Fire-orange and magenta hues paint the obverse in a slight woodgrain pattern, while the reverse displays predominantly tan-gold color. Flashy fields lack any significant contact, and the eye appeal is exquisite. The Mint struck 960+ proofs cents in 1871 (all with a Shallow N in ONE), yet none are reported finer across all color categories. Population: 7 in 66 Red and Brown, 0 finer (11/16).
