1883 1C PR67 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Already a major condition rarity in its given grade, this Superb Gem proof 1883 Indian cent is also the only CAC-approved Red and Brown coin at this level. Additionally, one look at this coin in person and the viewer notices almost completely copper-orange surfaces -- only a subtle blush of lavender-red toning on each side prevents a Red designation. The coin is fully struck and displays modest field-motif contrast. No distracting specks are seen. Population: 5 in 67 Red and Brown, 0 finer (11/16).
