1909 1C PR65 Red Cameo NGC. CAC. Ex: Highland Collection. Red Cameo proof 1909 Indian cents are rare in any grade. This Gem CAC coin offers appreciable contrast on each side with rich copper-orange over the obverse and a lighter golden reverse. Prolonged study with a loupe reveals a few tiny specks that melt into the mirrored fields at most angles. The strike is fully executed. Census: 3 in 65 Red Cameo (1 in 65+), 1 finer. CAC: 1 in 65, 0 finer (11/16).
