1909 VDB 1C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-1101, MS66 Red PCGS. CAC. LIBERTY and the date are die doubled, with the spread strongest on the RTY in LIBERTY and the 190 in the date. A beautiful Premium Gem whose fine-grained mattelike surfaces are apricot-gold with rose-red accents. Contact and carbon are virtually absent. Population: 14 in 66 (2 in 66+) Red, 1 finer (11/16).
