1909-S 1C VDB MS65 Red PCGS. CAC. This amber-gold coin displays the original, unmellowed color associated with S-VDB cents. Some show streakiness that is associated with improper mixture of the alloy, but not on this coin. The strike is strong, but not quite complete on Lincoln's beard, and there are no obvious or detracting marks. This is a special coin for an advanced set.
