1909-S 1C VDB MS66 Red PCGS. The premier issue in the Lincoln cent series, the 1909-S VDB can be obtained in MS66 Red for a price. Finer examples, though, are extremely rare and have surpassed the six-figure mark on occasion. This Premium Gem enjoys a near-full impression and splendid amber-gold coloration. Pale streaks are noted across each side. VDB is bold, and a single tick occurs below RI in AMERICA. PCGS records 15 higher-graded representatives (12/16).
