1922 1C No D, Strong Reverse, FS-401, AU53 PCGS. This is a smooth, briefly circulated representative of the most desirable No D variety of the year from Die Pair 2. Chocolate-brown surfaces with steel-blue accents show minor marks in the fields, though none of them are singular in nature. The reverse is fully defined, while a bit of incompleteness occurs at the upper obverse.
