Lincoln Cents
1931-S 1C MS66 Red PCGS. The 1931-S is popular as a low-mintage issue of 866,000 pieces. Both sides of this Premium Gem are awash with orange-gold luster. The design elements are sharply impressed, including Lincoln's bowtie and the grains and lines of the wheat stalks. There are a couple of light toning spots on the reverse, but the coin is free of the unsightly carbon spots that sometimes occur on this issue. Neither service has seen any examples finer (11/16).
