1955 1C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, MS61 Brown NGC. A pleasing Mint State Brown example of one of the most startling naked-eye blunders in U.S. numismatics. Traces of faded mint orange appear around the obverse rim, while the remainder of each side is attractive brown with bluish tinges. Scattered microscopic flecks and a couple of small contact marks are unbothersome and in concert with the grade. Well-struck and nice for the grade.
