1972 1C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, MS67 Red PCGS. A splendid peach-red Superb Gem of the famous doubled die variety. The obverse legends exhibit a strong, broad spread, comparable with the iconic 1955 FS-101. The lustrous surfaces are essentially unabraded, though a couple of tiny spots are concealed on the columns of the Lincoln Memorial. Population: 46 in 67 Red, 1 finer (11/16).
